This is a draft, version 0.1. It holds what the first designer, the Knowledge designer (definitions/designers/knowledge.des), needs and nothing more (constitution principle V), so its constructs may change when a second designer arrives, and any construct may change before 1.0 (constitution principle IV). DESL defines every construct it uses; it takes nothing from the specification languages of the other kinds of tool. Sections and paragraphs marked (informative) explain intent; everything else is normative.
The key words MUST, MUST NOT, REQUIRED, SHALL, SHALL NOT, SHOULD, SHOULD NOT, RECOMMENDED, MAY and OPTIONAL are to be interpreted as described in RFC 2119 and RFC 8174 when, and only when, they appear in bold capitals.
